Amanda Iglinski is an artist from Bay View, WI. She has been a serious artist for over a decade. Since accepting her position on Milwaukee Artbeat’s board of directors as curator in 2009, she has either organized or participated in almost 100 art events, including painting at both The Pfister Hotel and The Milwaukee Art Museum. In 2013, she opened a studio, called Bubbler Studios, in The Hide House (Milwaukee, WI). In early 2014, she accepted the position as Gallery Coordinator for Hide House Creative, Milwaukee's up-and-coming art community in Bay View.
Her Milrawkee series brings a playfulness to the cityscape. The recurring themes in her artwork are bright, playful colors, humor and parody. A portion of her recent work is collaborative work with other local artists. She seeks to bring artists together as community to promote the emerging local art scene.
